High Mountain Floral was founded by Biz (short for Elizabeth) Ence in 2021. After spending several years working professionally in the event industry, Biz found her true passion in weddings. She never in a million years thought she could become a florist. But her heart was set on it. She set out to shadow some of the most talented florists in Utah. Traveling miles and miles to gain as much experience as possible. From the Utah desert to the glaciers of Alaska, she soaked in all the experience possible. She now takes on a limited amount of weddings each year, connecting with couples that value small details and feel inspired by the high mountain wildflowers

Biz’s appreciation for Mother Nature has nurtured a passion for incorporating sustainable practices in her business. Biz cherishes her relationships she’s built with local flower farmers and strives to source their product as much as possible for your designs. She is continually learning ways to eliminate any negative practices associated with the floral industry and educate clients and colleagues as part of her sustainability initiative.

Combined with her unique artistic touch, passion for the great outdoors, and Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Biz will create florals that seamlessly make dreams come true for your big day.
